It is a full bodied pale yellow Vermentino full of greenish highlights, with long bouquet, particularly delicate and elegant with scents of flowers and fruits (peach and apricot) and a final note of fresh citrus. To the palate it is broad-flavoured, velvety, savoury and fresh, with salty notes and a distinctive hazelnut aftertaste. The wine has a remarkable capability of bottle refining. It has an intense fruity aroma, and is an elegant and full bodied wine, that improves after a few years of bottle ageing.

Cantina Agiba 6 Mura
6MURA arises from the lands of Carignano, the sandy hills which stretch from the water front in Porto Pino to Calasetta, crossing Giba and Sant’Antioco.
The name is an axiom of “Su de Us Muras”, a protected area of Iglesiente around Giba.
The strong adherence to the characteristics of the territory is such that 6MURA expresses the interaction between land and vine. Producing a strong wine, different from international taste, a rather visionary expression of Sulcis, which retains, a refined and at the same time enveloping bouquet, the scent of the salty winds, which alternates with the harshness of the Maestrale wind, the flavour of salt softened by the sweetness of the Mediterranean shrub.
From the technical point of view, the old vineyards of Carigango del Sulcis ( between 50 and 100 years old) preserve the traditional bush-trained ungrafted cultivation. The characteristics of the red wine are enhanced by a long maceration of the skins and aging in 750 and 2000L oak barrels for approximately 12 months. While the strong identity of the Sulcis vineyard can be noted in the white wine due to an extended maturation period on the yeasts
