Azienda Agricola La Baia del Sole
The “Baia del Sole” winery is situated near the archeological remains of the Ancient Luni of Ortonovo, gains its prestige from the lands where the native Vermentino most probably originated. The company has been managed since 1989 by the Federici family, following traditions that have been handed down form generation to generation. Using modern equipments, the company produces high quality wines. Nowadays, the Baia del Sole company has about 11 Ha of vineyards (property of the company), mainly situated in the hilly area in the municipality of Ortonovo and Castelnuovo Magra, in a sunny, favorable position. The production is based on a fair compromise between tradition and technology, using the most recent wine making techniques and methods.
