The vineyards are situated in Paterno above Sarzanello in excellent hilly locations (south – south/west) on clay, limy-sandy soils, and in a microclimate without strong temperature variations. The average age of the vines is about 20 years old. The harvest takes place between the 29th of September and the 1st of October. The yield per hectare is 50,6 hl.

The company was founded in 1983 when Pier Luigi Neri, an eletronic engineer, inherited a home and a plot of land on the hills to the north of Sarzana. He began viticulture as a hobby, with the help and support of his wife Maria Antonietta Bacciarelli and sons Alessandro and Davide. In the first year they produced 2,000 bottles and the wine had a positive impact on consumers. This positive feedbacks encouraged the family to buy other plots of land, and to build a new winery in 1993. Nowadays the company is managed by Alessandro and Davide Neri, assisted by oenologist and friend Nicola Tucci. An excellent white, red and rosè DOC wines are produced from the quality grapes of their own vineyards.
Passito dei Neri
The vineyards are sitauted in Groppolo, above Sarzana, on excellently positioned hills ( south- south/west) on clay, limy, sandy soils. The microclimate is not subjected to strong temperature variations .
Selected grapes during the harvest, hang for about 2 and a half months, untill an excellent raisining is complete.
Crushed, must in contact with the skins for two hours, soft crushing, natural cold decantation, controlled fermentation at a temperature of 16-18 °C, long rest on the yeasts.
Vermentino dei Colli di Luni DOC
The vineyards of the company can be found in Groppolo, above Sarzana, and in Paterno above Sarzanello, both excellent hilly locations (south; south/west). Clay and limestone soils with a microclimate with no strong temperature variations. The age of the vines range between 10 and 30 years old. The harvest takes place between the 28th of August and the 20th of September. The production per hectare is 70/80 hl. The harvest takes place based on the maturity of the grape.
