The Colli di Luni Vermentino Villa Linda wine is made on the land situated in the estate of the same name in Becco di Ortonovo. It has a fifty years old, dense plant systems with a productivness of about 40 quintals per hectares. A part of the wine undergoes a slight wood ageing while the other part rests 5 months on fine lees, with many pumpovers in the tank.
The wine is poised and, and like the Augusto wine, it maintains a certain austerity in the system, although here it gathers weight and a more vivid sensation of ripe grapes, which brings back the distinctive fruit of the Vermentino.
No artifical clarifications processes take place.
Colour: intense straw yellow
Aroma: Delicate, notes of white fleshy fruit and soft mineral glints, slightly grassy and vanilla scented.
Flavour: full bodied and full flavoured, it has a lingering dry taste wine with continuing, coherent tactile sensations of great elegance.
Fish cooked “all’isolana”,caciucco and fish soups.
