The spurred cordon training system and the berry thinning ensures a low production and an excellent quality of the grapes.
Placed into bottles at the beginning of the spring after the harvest, the wine requires a few months of ageing in order to reveal its best organoleptic characteristics.
It is tasted in long stemmed glasses, at a temperature of 11-12 degrees.

The Acquabona Estate dates back to the first decades of the eighteenth century; nowadays it has more than 14 hectares of vineyards and it is the largest winery of the Island of Elba. The growing techniques are performed with complete respect for the environment, the company, in fact, is part of the European Program for reducing the use of pesticides. The harvesting of the grapes is manual in order to ensure their selection. The fermentation, the treatment and the ageing of the wines are carried out with the use of modern, traditional techniques which best retain and enhance the characters and value of the grapes.
