Le Carraie
The vineyards are located in the hilly area to the north of the municipality of Bibbona, in a mixed clay soil, rich in pebbles, A terrain beautifully radiated by the sun at an altitude of 60 -70 metres above sea level.
The manual harvest takes place during the first 10 days of September based on the seasonal climate. The harvested grapes, are taken to a cellar and crushed, according to a soft crushing technique in order to maintain the aromas and organoleptic qualities of the grapes. The fermentation takes palce in inox tanks untill all the sugars have broken down. After the fermentation a natural decantation takes place, after which the wine is bottled. After a light bottle ageing the wine is ready to be sold.
Colour: straw yellow with golden highlights characteristic of Vermentino wines, enriched with a wide bouquet of aromas.
Flavour: dry, fruity and well - lingering.
Serve at a temperature of 10°C
Particularly suitable with fish dishes typical of the Tuscan cuisine, white meat.
