VERMENTINO IS HISTORICALLY PRODUCT IN LUCCA. OUR PRODUCT COMES FROM THREE VINEYARDS GROWN AT 40-80 MT OF ALTITUDE IN CLAY SOILS RICH IN IRON OXIDE UP TO SANDY-SILT, EXPOSED SOUTHWEST AND SOUTH-EAST. ONE OF THE VINEYARDS IS OLD, 25 YEARS OLD, AND GIVES THE SAPIDITY, ACIDITY AND RARE NOTES OF MEDITERRANEAN HERBS. THE OTHER TWO ARE YOUNGER AND GIVE MINERALITY. THE WINE FERMENTS IN STEEL TANKS AT CONTROLLED TEMPERATURE AND AGES ON HIS FINE LEES.
Pale yellow with greenish reflections colour. The nose is intense, complex and persistent. Floral notes of whites flowers, fruity hints of pear, peach, grapefruit aromas of mediterranean herbs such as mint and sage. The palate is fresh, mineral and savory. Good balance acid/savory. Final notes of citrus, mint and peach.
