Colour: intense straw yellow with golden glints
Aroma: intense and lingering, fine and elegant, apple and citrus fruits, as well as glints of mediterranean shrub.
Flavour: very balanced and fresh, harmonic and gently fruity, a good mineral content and a savoury aftertaste, the typical ending taste of bitter almond.
In addition to the typical matches with sea food and cuisine of the Island, Vermentino wine is very suitable with appetizers of raw fish, as well as with risotto expecially with asparagus. It matches well also with sweet cheeses, of medium consistency not too seasoned.
