Suolo: Granitico di limitata profondità, ricco di scheletro costituito da sabbione granitico in degradazione, sciolto, acido, povero di sostanze nutritive. bassissima ritenzione idrica. Vendemmia: Tradizionale, Manuale. Vinificazione in bianco. In Cantina 4-6 mesi.

GIBA bianco
A pale yellow wine with greenish highlights, floral scents, with a final taste of almonds.
It is a dry and savory white wine.
Giunco
HARVEST: Between late August and early September. VINIFICATION: The grapes are gently pressed and the must ferments at 14-16°C. After clarification and stabilisation, the wine ages 4 months in steel and a minimum of 1 month in bottle.
Grattamacco Bolgheri Vermentino
The wine is produced from a Vineyard of 1,50 hectares, situated 100 metres above sea level, the soil is a clay and limestone mix, with a mild mediterranean climate. The vine density is 4500 plants per hectare with a productiveness of about 80 quintals.
The pruning follows the spurred cordon method and simple guyot process, the harvest is exclusively manual.
The average age of the apparatus is 15 years old.
50% of the vinification takes place in steel, the remaining 50% in new barriques, of second and third passage, the half processed in wood is aged for 8 months in barriques. Then come 6 months of bottle ageing.
A wine of great balance and pleasantness that shows all the potentialities of the Vermentino vine, that is most at home in this territory.
