The Domaine Peraldi is situated on the slopes of Mezzavia. It dominates the famous Gulf of Ajaccio and is the pride of the Islands wine growing industry. This ancient Domaine (the first vineyards were planted in the XVI° century) was totally rennovated in 1965 by the Count of Poix.
This typical local wine is made thanks to a special prunning method for each vine, a method which respects the lands of Ajaccio (put into semi-permanent grass)and a characteristic way of taking care of the grapes.
Made from a blend of grapes 100 % of the traditional Vermentino. Our white wines, those made in the Domanie as well as those made in Sartène (Comte Peraldi AOC Corse) perfectly express the complexity and the fineness of Corsica’s blend of grapes.
Soil: soils of granitic sand. Poor, acid soils.
