Le Fornacelle di Billi Stefano
Le Fornacelle di Billi Stefano
The company was founded at the end of the nineteenth century along the Tuscan coast, in the DOC area of Bolgheri. The company name testifies the presence of many old furnaces, their remains can still be found under the company’s cellars. The family run farm spreads out over an area of 15 hectares of land. The company has been owned by the Billi-Batistoni family for 4 generations, but the turning point in wine production occured in 1998, when Stefano Billi came into the family inheritance and planted the new vineyard. Afterwards, his wife Silvia became involved in the family business together with Stefano. Besides the vine, an olive grove of about 1,000 plants and other fruit and vegetable cultivations complete the production framework.
