Azienda Agricola Petricci e Del Pianta
The Petricci e Del Pianta Farm is situated in the municipality of Suvereto, an ancient medieval town, on the slopes of the hills that surround the Val di Cornia. In San Lorenzo, at the beginning of the last century, the Petricci family planted their first vineyard and have become in time excellent wine makers. The main crops are vine and olive groves.The production area of the company is 22 ha, 11 ha of which are vineyards, with about 1.000 olive trees. The training system of the vines is spurred cordon, and the vine density per hectare is 4800 plants.The pesticides treatments are applied only when necessary, in order to limit the use of pesticides and have a low environmental impact.
