Sardinia and Veneto: the union of two lands rich in tradition and culture, skillfully blended, reality comes a young wine: the company "Zanatta Vineyards". The area of ​​Gallura in Sardinia is characterized by granitic rocks smoothed by the wind, rain and sea and thin soils and very fertile, but leaves space to the north, with large areas planted with vines. And here, Bruno Zanatta, young winemaker from Treviso in 1975 began his career developing a deep knowledge of the area and the land of Sardinia. Thirty years later his passion, now consolidated turns, standing next to his son Marco, in what is now considered a true reality that extends over an area of ​​over 100 hectares, was founded the family business. The first 16 hectares purchased in 2003 in the area. situated at 300 meters above sea level, they are destined to vineyards varieties Vermentino and Cannonau. Also in Gallura, in the town of Olbia, in 2005 another 90 hectares and are bought here with patience, love and dedication, year after year are planted over 60 hectares and it is in this area that focuses the real production of Vermentino di Gallura DOCG and Cannonau DOC. In 2008, the production cycle is completed with the construction of the winery. At the same time, the company is back in his homeland: the Veneto. On land belonging to the family for generations, in 2008 we are planted vineyards of DOC Prosecco and Pinot Grigio DOC Piave and also here, as in Gallura, realizes a small winery. Dedication, experience and professionalism characterize the daily commitment and strong company that offers fine wines, demonstrating how the marriage of two seemingly distant lands give life to a wine-growing tradition of excellence.
