Vermentino di Toscana - Podere Arundineto
Vermentino Podere Arundineto is made with different grapes of Vermentino collected from the cultivated vineyards that face the Tirreno Sea in the area of Bolgheri.
In September the manual harvest takes palce, carefully selecting the grapes. After the pressing there follows a cold static clarification and next an alcoholic fermentation in steel at a controlled temperature of 16°C.
After comes the ageing in steel on the yeasts of fermentation for at least six months, during which the wine acquires its organoleptic characteristics and typical bouquet.
Wine making process: low spurred cordon
vine density per hectare : 6.000
Production per hectare: 80 quintals.
Colour: straw – yellow
Aroma: typical notes of sage and spring flowers, with pleasant notes of grapefruit and tropical fruits
Flavour: the wine has a good acidic vein, it is rich in flavour with a long and refreshing finish.
