Terra della Luna

The "Terra della Luna Isola Alta snc" is a farm specializing in the production of the Colli di Luni wines (Vermentino and Red Colli di Luni).The vineyard locates on the territory called "Pezzo Grande", on which the family Fabbricotti of noble origins of Carrara produced his private reserve of the white wine. The hilly terrain, the clay mineral presented in the soil and the microclimate have created the hollow area of Luni between the Tuscany's and Liguria's hills, that allow to produce the wines with the intense aromas and the harmonious flavours, same as our Vermentino Colli di Luni DOC and Rosso Colli di Luni IGT. The flavor and the fragrance of the wine Colli di Luni was described already in the 50s AD by Plinio il Vecchio, who mentioned the grapes of this territory as the best in the whole Italy.
