The Buonamico Winery is located on the South-west of Montecarlo, in the Cercatoja area. It has 41 hectares, 36 of which are intended for vineyards. The Winery was founded in 1964 by some restaurateurs from Torino who built it just in order to produce Montecarlo wine, very well-known at that time, to supply their restaurants. The winery has been bought by the Fontana family from Lucca and totally reconstructed. The new owners are expanding the vineyard and the cellars in order to create a wine and increase its quality every year. For this reason Teuta del Buonamico has become the leader winery in the production of high quality wine.
