Azienda Agricola Chiara Barbero -Fravizzola

The farm, founded in 1985 by Nanni Barbero, was born on a plant of the 50s and is still fully productive. Later it expanded by maintaining the unchanged original variety of grapes through a careful and constant engagement of the ancient native clones. The Vineyard is located on the hill of Fosdinovo, 200 meters above sea level and close to the Apuan Alps.The vineyard, cultivated on the  south-south/east, on  the sunny side where it is prtotected  from dangerous spring frosts, extends in steep and thick rows on an area of ​​about 2 hectares, through an arduous terrain that forces the vineyard processing  entirely by manual labour. A maniacal attention in the vineyard processing , a careful care of the pruning (the Guyot breeding has been modified in a small arch with only six gems 50 cm from the ground) and a manual grape harvest carefully selected makes arriving the grapes   of excellent quality and excellent health status in the wine cellar, with the guarantee of the genuineness of  final product that does not require special interventions to remain faithful to the tradition and philosophy of this Company.
