Grapes harvested by hand in little boxes from vineyards planted in 1987 on granite weathering soil at 350 meters above the sea level, grapes vinified in advance of maturity with care at low temperatures.
Mezzaluna
This Vermentino Colli di Luni Doc is a great Cru obtained from a particular selection of 100% pure Vermentino grapes. Mezzaluna is the name of the vineyard next to the Boriassi winery, a terrace in a half-moon shape that enjoys a favourable location to the south-west.
Mezzaluna has a limited production, the packaging is also very special.
It is a dry,white wine, with a straw yellow color, with all the aromas of the Lunigiana area and an average alcoholic strength of 13°. A wine to be served at a cool temperature of 10-12°
Mistral di Campo al Pero
Mistral Campo al Pero Toscana i.g.t. is produced with fermentino grapes, with an accurate off-the-skins fermentation.
Training system: spurred cordon
Harvest: the harvest is manual and it takes place at the end of september, through careful selection
Cropping level: 80 hl hectares
Fermentation: the alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature, the bottle ageing in little oak barrels takes 2 months, then for a further 3 months in bottles.
Bodied wine, transferred with know-how and moderation, in wood.
Serving temperature: 10-12°
